I am an artist based in Glasgow working in print and sculpture. My practice maps geological discoveries and encounters, within the city, landscape, archive and print studio. My work is derived from a fascination with the repeated cycles and transformative processes that happen within rocks and fossils and how interactions with materials and objects can help us comprehend our place within deep time. 

My interest begins with fossils and expands to the anatomy and biological processes of the fossilised creatures. Stone lithography is a central part of my practice. This printmaking technique utilises limestone blocks, fossilised remains of marine creatures that lived in our oceans around 150 million years ago, during the Jurassic period.  My work investigates connections between digital and traditional printmaking, as well as the relationship between object and image, and how this informs the way we engage with the world.
