I work in print and sculpture to map geological discoveries and encounters, within the city, landscape, archive and print studio. I am interested in the repeated cycles and transformative processes that happen within rocks and fossils. My interest in fossils expands to the anatomy and biological processes of the fossilised creatures. 

I experiment with the chemistry of materials to develop images. I fold printed papers into sculptures to push printmaking into different dimensions. I merge digital transfers with fluid painterly techniques to create lithographic prints. Stone Lithography is at the heart of my practice; this technique uses limestone printing blocks formed of sea creatures buried 160 million years ago in deep tropical lagoons.

I am interested in the relationship between object and image, and how this informs the way we engage with the world. I investigate how interactions with materials and objects can help us comprehend our place within deep time.
